The Old Asian Federation

Written by Asian Federation at 19:08 29/7-2013

On the 5th of June, 2012, Asian Federation was founded by manager Joakim. 4-5 months later, the team was disbanded. A lot of riders visited the squad within this time, and today, I would like to honor those who were with us, the first generation.

  -------------------
  Tarjei Amundsen

Tarjei Amundsen joined the team from the start, and was number one priority for the first months. All of the prize money went into his training. Amundsen turned out to become a great TT rider, and his selection for the national team stands out as my greatest memory from Cycling Simulator to this date. On the opposite side of the scale, being promoted to division 4 and losing the opportunity to compete in the Youth Classification in Fast on Wheels is one of my worse memories.

Tarjei Amundsen was sold to Matrix Team, and currently rides for Team Kernow. His greatest achievement is a 7th place in the season 23 World championship ITT.
  ----------------
  Benoît Köehler

Benoît Köehler was our second trainee, and he turned out an even greater rider than Amundsen. He ended up far succeeding his expectations, and I would have liked to see him and Amundsen ride together in Fast on Wheels.

Benoît Köehler was sold to Telek@m, where he still remains. His greatest achievement is either a 5th place in the division 2 race Critérium Monaco G3, or a 9th place in the division 1 race Oslo Rundtur.
  ----------------
  Benne Cappon

Benne Cappon was our first signing, and he won race after race. His efforts was a huge factor in our climb into the 4th division, and he has grabbed the most points in the teams history.

Benne Cappon was sold to NECFTW, and currently rides for Buckingham Sprinters. His greatest achievement is a 4th place in the division 1 race Hoogstraten - Arendonk.
  ----------------
  Yanaël Devaux

Yanäël Devaux was our second signing, and he raced alongside Cappon for the majority of his time within the team. He was replaced by Jaap Maaskant once the team managed to climb out of the lower divisions.

Yanaël Devaux was released on the transfer market, and currently rides for Espinho. His greatest achievement is 1st place in two division 10 races.
  ----------------
  Jaap Maaskant

Jaap Maaskant replaced Yanaël Devaux, and fulfilled the same role as his french predecessor. He never managed to win a race for the team, but was still a respected rider.

Jaap Maaskant was released on the transfer market, and currently rides for NEW WORLD. His greatest achievement is 1st place in three division 10 races.
  --------------
  Aldis Meijers

Aldis Meijers placed a supportive role for Benoît Köehler in his short time within the team. It was quickly discovered that he was not maxed, and he was sold for a profit. He has now (probably) reached his potential, and has turned into a really good teammate.

Aldis Meijers was sold to omega pharma lotto, where he still remains. His greatest achievement is 1st place in the division 1 race Highlander´s Race to Aberdeen.
  ------------------
  Arne De Brouwer

Arne De Brouwer was never hired for his potential to bring in results, but rather a hope that he could be sold for a profit. Arne De Brouwer was trained, despite his old age, and turned into a great rider.

Arne De Brouwer was sold to WV De Dommel, and currently rides for Drapeau Noir. His greatest achievement is either 1st place in the third stage of the division 1 tour Vuelta de los Castillos, or 4th place in the season 24 World championships.
  ------------------

I hope this was as interesting to read as it was to write. I have learned a lot about my old riders, and I am glad to see that many of them has had very successful careers.

Thanks, this release was especially enjoyable to write. I learned a lot about my previous riders, I never knew Amundsen placed placed so high in the world championships ITT.
